I am a junior pre-medical student studying Biology with minors in Global Health and Spanish. My interests include examining social determinants of health and addressing food insecurity in Durham. I’ve been working with Joan Clifford as an SLA for the past year, now in my third semester with her for Spanish 308. This year, I’m also an NC Student Dialogue Ambassador and serve as the service-learning and volunteer coordinator for Root Causes, a student organization that frequently partners with Duke Service-Learning courses.
