I am a second-year master's of Coastal Environmental Management student in the Nicholas School of the Environment. This year I am studying at the Duke University Marine Lab in Beaufort, NC. I love living on the coast, and feel extremely grateful to be here. I have an extensive background in service, ranging from my time as an AmeriCorps VISTA at an anti-hunger nonprofit, to directing the George Washington University chapter of Kesem during my undergraduate career. I hope to continue a career in service after graduating this May.
I am a slightly non-traditional SLA, in that I am working remotely this year. I support Dr. David Malone's Educational Psychology class by tracking attendance and assignments, and ensuring all of the important information needed for the class is organized and easily accessible. I am sad I will not be able to attend any of Dr. Malone's lectures or amazing events in person this year, however I am happy to play even a small role in his amazing class!
