The Betsy Alden Award recipients were honored at the In The Spotlight ceremony on April 16th. In The Spotlight recognizes individuals and organizations whose influence and achievements have made a significant impact on University life and beyond. The event is a community-wide celebration of leadership and inspiration. The following individuals received the Betsy Alden Outstanding Service-Learning Award for their commitment to the ideals of service‐learning: Duke senior Frances Beroset, BME faculty member Kevin Caves, and community partner Jeanette Stokes from Resource Center for Women and Ministry in the South (RCWMS).
