Many of our Duke Service-Learning courses work with K-12 education in school settings, including Durham Public Schools, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, and several private schools. Don't miss the Lakewood in Focus documentary studies project created through DOCST 209FS with Susie Post-Rust.

Our community partners work with Duke students to address contemporary issues, such as education, healthcare, food scarcity, income equality, environmental issues, child and adult literacy, refugee settlement, dementia, aging, mental health, and many other important issues.
