What better way to celebrate our community partnerships than through breakfast in the community? Duke Service-Learning faculty and their community partners joined us for breakfast recently at the Durham Exchange. Curious about our partnerships? See the map of our community partners HERE.
Every year, Duke Service-Learning hosts a community action project with a local community partner. These projects provide immersive experiences in Durham for Duke faculty, staff, students and alumni.
As part of our signature Context & Connections series, Duke Service-Learning led an action project at Book Harvest, an organization that supports literacy for children and their families. Volunteers labeled and packaged books for distribution to children and teens.
