Majoring in Neuroscience; Minoring in Music & Chemistry

I’m a junior majoring in Neuroscience, with minors in Music and Chemistry. At Duke, I’m involved in BassConnections, conduct research in the Volkan Lab, volunteer with EMS back home, and work as a medical assistant. Music is a big part of my life—I’ve been focused on solo violin in recent years, and this semester I joined a piano trio. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Durham’s food and café scene and hunting down hidden study spots around campus.

As a Service-Learning Assistant, I work with Dr. Deborah Gold’s SOC 264: Death and Dying seminar. In this role, I help coordinate student placements with community partners and facilitate discussions about their experiences working with older adults.
